Facilities

The club offers:

• Outdoor bowling  on an excellent six/seven rink, lawn bowling green which is used from mid-April to mid-September.
• Indoor bowling throughout the year on a four rink indoor green which was opened in 1990 and extensively improved in 2006. In 2024 the club invested heavily in levelling the concrete base to  give a truer bowling surface together with a new carpet and underlay.
• A modern clubhouse with ample sized changing rooms, licensed bar,  hot beverage machine, modern kitchen and function area, plus free high speed wi-fi.
• Large on-site  car park.

 Activities

• Social bowling where friends can meet for a “roll-up” and a coffee.
• Indoor and outdoor friendly matches with local and touring clubs.
• Indoor  and outdoor  leagues.
• Indoor and outdoor competitive bowling at club, county and national level.
• A  junior bowlers section, age 8 to 18.
• Social events such as barbecues, charity fun-day, club dinner and bowls suppers, are organised throughout the year.
• We offer free taster sessions  with absolutely no obligation and loan bowls available. All we ask is that you bring along a pair of flat soled shoes. These are conducted under the supervision of our fully qualified coaches who are  DBS approved. Each session being tailored to the individual’s needs. • We pride ourselves on our friendliness and have facilities and coaching support for both disabled and non-disabled bowlers.
